On July 1, The Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge, China's first high-speed railway bridge to use 5G leakage cables to achieve signal coverage, was officially opened to traffic.

China Tower-Nantong Branch coordinated the three telecom enterprises to jointly build and share, and adopted the comprehensive coverage solution of "micro-station & leak-cable technology" to realize the the 5G network full coverage of the bridge. Among them, the 5G leaky cable technology used in the main 5.837km span of the railway bridge came from China Tower-Nantong Branch & ZTT Joint Laboratory.  

China Tower, the world's largest information and communication infrastructure service company; ZTT, a world-renowned optical fiber communications company with local growth in Nantong, joined hands to establish a joint laboratory, focusing on cooperation in areas such as 5G room coverage In 2019.

Leaky coaxial cable [referred to as leaky cable], mainly meet the mountain tunnel, subway, mine and other special occasions wireless communication needs. mainly meets the wireless communication needs of special occasions like mountain tunnels, subways, mines, etc. ZTT has the technical solution of indoor distribution leaky cable with exclusive patent technology. Its leaky cable has won the title of national manufacturing Champion by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The 5G dedicated leaky cable developed by ZTT has well solved the layout problems of 5G signals in a series of confined spaces such as tunnels and subways. In May of last year, ZTT’s 5/4 new type 5G leaky cable was put into use on Zhengzhou Metro Line 5, helping China’s first subway tunnel to succeed in 5G coverage.
